A great and tasty way to prepare a cut of beef that isn’t very tender.

Measure and prepare all the ingredients for the braise.

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, and thyme, then season the steaks.

Heat a skillet with the oil. Brown the steaks on both sides, then set aside.

Add a little more oil to the skillet if needed. Sauté the garlic, onion, and carrots together.

Add the beef, parsley, and white wine. Bring to a boil, cover, and cook on low heat for about 40 minutes, until the meat is tender.

Serve immediately.
