Fish kata kat

Fish katakat is a Pakistani street food .The dings and clangs of the chef’s chopping movements are the main reason for why this food has such a name, but there’s actually some fun disagreement whether its ‘tak-a-tak,’ or ‘kata-kat..Chopping and mincing the pre-fried fish with all those seasonings is what makes the signature ‘kata-kat’ sound. Katkat dish can be made in any form of meat but I have tried only with fish . I have learnt this dish almost 15 yrs back when I was a huge fan of masala TV a Pakistani tv channel which had 24 hrs live cooking. I used to sit with my diary open and note down all the recipes. For all those moms who have problems feeding fish to thier kids, this is the best way as its so tasty that kids hardly recognize its fish with no bones for them to get fussy. The bread item accompanying this meal will be chapati or any thing else you prefer. You can use any fish fillet , I have tried this with both the types they come out delicious. Do try and give a feed back.
