Pineapple Dressing

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupunsalted butter, room temperature
  2. 1 cupsugar
  3. 4eggs room temperature
  4. 8 cups (1 inch)cubes of oven dried firm white bread
  5. 20 ozcan crushed pineapple with juice

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 225

  2. 2

    Cut bread into cubes and spread one layer on large baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Place bread in 225 oven for 35-40 minutes

  4. 4

    Measure dried bread cubes to get 8 cups

  5. 5

    Preheat oven to 350

  6. 6

    Butter an 11x7 baking dish or a 2 quart dish

  7. 7

    Cream butter and sugar at least 5 minutes

  8. 8

    Add eggs one at a time mixing well between each egg

  9. 9

    Fold in pineapple, juice and bread

  10. 10

    Bake for an hour, maybe a little more depending on how firm you want it.
