Ingredients

  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1 lbground pork
  3. 1 lbground veal
  4. 2 lbYukon gold potato
  5. 1small onion
  6. 1shallot
  7. 2ribs of celery
  8. 1 tbspallspice
  9. 1 tspnutmeg
  10. Generous amounts of salt and pepper
  11. Crust
  12. 2.5 cupsflour
  13. 16 Tbspcold butter
  14. 6-8 tbspice water
  15. 1 tspsalt
  16. Sauce
  17. Beef stock or Demi glaze
  18. Red wine
  19. Thyme
  20. Sautéed shallot
  21. Butter

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Sauté celery, onion, and shallot till transparent. Add meats and seasoning and brown till most liquid is evaporated. Boil potatoes and rice into meat mixture. Stir well and add to crust. Can use a springform pan or pie dish. Bake at 350 till crust is golden.
