Steamed Wiener Sausages and Mushrooms

One day I wanted to whip up a quick dinner, so I tried throwing together the ingredients I had in my refrigerator.
After you turn on the heat, don't lift the lid open. It won't burn, so don't worry. For those who are worried that it might burn, I recommend using a Teflon or non-strick frying pan.
Use whatever mushrooms you like. Using several different types will increase the amount of umami. The juice left over after steaming tastes like a delicious soup ♪ Recipe by Channeruyumi

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the wiener sausages diagonally (about 3 pieces per sausage).
- 2
Clean the fresh shiitake mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and maitake mushrooms and split them up.
- 3
Cut the king oyster mushrooms in half, and then thinly slice them into vertical pieces.
- 4
Put the ingredients from Steps 1, 2, and 3 into a frying pan, add the consume and sake, and cover with a lid. Steam-fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Turn off the heat and let sit for 2-3 minutes (←the residual heat will continue the cooking process). Then season with salt and pepper and stir together.
- 6
Serve it into a bowl and if you like, add a little lemon juice and some finely chopped scallions, and just like that, it's done.

I love tofu stir-fries, but they are not so popular with my kids. I added ingredients that the kids liked, and made a flavorful concoction with an oyster sauce base.As for the water-straining in step 1, if you are in a hurry, you can wrap the tofu in paper towels, put it in a microwave-safe container, and use it after microwaving for 3 minutes and removing the paper towel. This time I used soft tofu, but dry tofu is also okay. Add seasoning to your taste. Recipe by caramel-cookie cookpad.japan -

I only used the secret sauce and frankfurters for a bento, but you can also add some vegetables for a splendid dish. You can combine various ingredients using this sauce, so it's very convenient to have. It's so useful for busy days.Even though it takes some work, making the slits in the wieners will help the sauce coat them easier. Since the wieners will produce grease and the grease will spatter out when the sauce is poured in, soak it up with a paper towel. Once the sauce is added, the weiners tend to burn easily, so pay attention! Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -
