I wanted to make low calorie omurice that you can depend on even when you're on a diet.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 200 gramsHot cooked white rice
  2. 150 gramsFresh okara
  3. 1/2Onion
  4. 2Green peppers
  5. 5 tbspTomato ketchup
  6. 1/2 tspSoup stock granules
  7. 50 mlWater
  8. 1 tspVegetable oil
  9. 2Eggs
  10. 1 dashSalt and pepper
  11. 1 tspButter

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry-roast the okara in a frying pan.

  2. 2

    Heat the butter in a frying pan. Sauté the minced onion and green peppers.

  3. 3

    When cooked, add 2/3 of the okara into the frying pan and stir-fry quickly.

  4. 4

    Add water, soup stock granules and the ketchup. If it's too dry, add some soup stock dissolved in water. If it tastes too plain, add more ketchup.

  5. 5

    Beat the eggs. Mix in the rest of the okara, salt and pepper.

  6. 6

    Heat some oil in a frying pan and cook the egg.

  7. 7

    Slide the omelet onto the ketchup rice to finish.
