Hello lovelies 😘😘😘
So I decided to cook something different yesternight and I thought of yamarita but whola🙄🙄🙄 it didn't end up well. I later realized 🤔🤔🤔 it's because I didn't add flour. But as economy hard reach I couldn't waste my recipe so I immediately converted it into white yam and sauce 😜😜😜.
So let's see how it played out👇👇👇

Ingredients

  1. Yam
  2. Eggs
  3. Bell pepper
  4. Green pepper
  5. Sweet pepper
  6. Onion bulbs
  7. Tomatoes
  8. Seasoning
  9. Salt
  10. Vegetable oil
  11. Water
  12. Let's start cooking

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

    I peeled and washed the yam, then I diced it into desired size.

  2. 2

    I cooked the yam till done and I poured it out in a sieve.
    NB: I did not add salt while cooking.

    I diced my vegetables and whisked my egg in a bowl.

  4. 4

    I mixed everything together and added salt and seasoning cubes.

  5. 5

    I dipped the yam into the egg (hoping it will hold but it didn't 😭😭😭) and placed it into a hot vegetable oil on heat. I scooped more egg to pour on the yam while on heat. I tried it a couple of times but it didn't work so I gave up in peace.

    Over to my sauce

    I poured in the tomatoes into the oil and allowed for 10mins.
    NB: I didn't fry for long because I needed it to still be a bit fresh.

  7. 7

    I poured in the egg mixture and allowed for 10mins.
    While on it, I diced more vegetables (green pepper, bell pepper and onions)

  8. 8

    After 10-12mins, I poured in the vegetables and allowed for 3mins.

    NB: I didn't add water in to the sauce, but remember I didn't fry the tomatoes to dry so it's the water from the tomatoes that served.

    Served with chilled drink and of course sachet water.

Hahaha yes o! 😀😀economy hard well well 😀. you did well thinking fast 😀. I don’t add flour when i make yamarita actually.
