Nori Soup

Japanese Clear Soup is something I occasionally crave. This ‘Nori Soup’ is a super quick & easy one. It tastes really good and surprisingly comforting. When I need a simple soup really quickly, no other soup can be easier than this one. This recipe is for 1 serving, and it will be easy to multiply.

Steps
- 1
Heat Dashi Stock (OR Water and Dashi Powder) in a saucepan, add Salt, Soy Sauce and Sake (Rice Wine), and bring to the boil.
- 2
Tear Toasted Nori sheet into bite-size pieces and place in a soup bowl. *Note: Nori must be toasted. If Nori doesn’t smell good, toast it over flames until aromatic and crispy.
- 3
Pour the hot soup over Nori, add some Toasted Sesame Seeds and finely chopped Spring Onion, and enjoy.
