Ingredients

  • 200 gdark chocolate - at least 70%+
  • 50 gbutter
  • 60 gcream
  • 25 gicing sugar
  • 60 gchopped crystallised ginger
  • 60 gchopped toasted almonds or toasted hazelnuts or pistachios

Steps

  1. 1

    Line a small loaf tin - 8x26cm works

  2. 2

    Put the chocolate, butter and cream in a bowl and melt over a pan of simmering water.

  3. 3

    Take off the heat. Add the icing sugar and ginger and nuts. Stir.

  4. 4

    Spoon into the lined tin. Put in the fridge to set. When you’re ready to eat, dust with cacao powder and slice. Enjoy 😋
