In a small bowl mix together your black pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning, set bowl to the side ……..

Rinse and pat dry chicken thighs, place thighs in a large baking pan…….

Place your sliced peppers and onions all around chicken thighs, then sprinkle your bowl of dry seasonings all over chicken thighs……..

Bake thighs, uncovered, in a preheated 400 degree oven for 1 hour or until thighs are fully cooked…….

Meanwhile in a small saucepan heat together your heavy cream, salt, whole milk, Dijon mustard and light brown sugar until heated thru, do not boil, stirring occasionally……

Remove cooked chicken thighs from oven (drain any excess water from pan) and pour your Dijon sauce all over thighs, return to oven and bake on high heat, 425 degrees, for about 20 minutes…..

Spoon sauce all over chicken thighs, serve and enjoy 😉!
