The easier starter or side dish ever. You can easily substitute the mascarpone cheese with blue cheese or Gorgonzola. Great with a honey and soy sauce glaze and topped with walnuts.

Ingredients

2 or 4 servings
  1. 4figs
  2. 4 slicesParma ham
  3. 4heaped tsp or mascarpone cheese
  4. 4 tbspolive oil
  5. Salt and pepper to taste
  6. Walnuts to top
  7. For the honey and soy sauce glaze
  8. 2 tbspsoy sauce
  9. 4 tbsphoney

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180•C or gas mark 4. Prepare your figs cutting across and wrapping each in a slice of Parma ham. Top with the mascarpone and place in an oven dish. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil and bake for 15 min while you prepare the glaze. Combine the glaze ingredients in a bowl and add to your figs after the 15 min. Finish baking and serve with your favourite greens.
