I serve these as an oven Baked French Fry, alternative. They are as good as fries and better than baked. Serving them alongside Fish Sticks with tartar sauce, tonite.

I serve these as an oven Baked French Fry, alternative. They are as good as fries and better than baked. Serving them alongside Fish Sticks with tartar sauce, tonite.

Ingredients

1 hour 40 min.
8 servings
  1. 5medium to large Idaho-russets, washed and quartered
  2. 2 1/2 tbs.Veg Oil
  3. 1 tsp.Tony Charchere's Cajun Seasoning Salt
  4. 1 tspsweet Baby Ray's Bbq sauce
  5. 1 tsprooster sauce
  6. Few dashes of. vinegary Louisiana Sauce
  7. A fewgrinds of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

1 hour 40 min.

    Put all ingredients into a bowl and toss and massage into the potato planks.

    Preheat oven to 375F. Line a cookie sheet in aluminum foil, lay the seasoned planks out in one layer.

  3. 3

    Bake one hour at 375F. Turn the oven to 425F... add the fishsticks and bake 20 minutes more.

    Serve with ketchup, like fries. Or with sour cream, like baked potatotes.
