Ingredients

  1. 500 gramsturkey sausage
  2. 1small cucumber
  3. 1small carrot (about 4 inches)
  4. 2tomatoes
  5. 1/4onion
  6. 1 stalkcelery (about 4 inches)
  7. 1serrano pepper
  8. 1 handfulcilantro
  9. 2seedless limes
  10. 1 cupclamato juice (about 250 ml)
  11. 3/4 cupketchup (about 200 ml)
  12. 3 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
  13. 1/2 tablespoonhabanero sauce
  14. 1 pinchdried oregano
  15. Enough tostadas or saltine crackers for serving

  1. 1

    Cut the sausages, celery, onion, tomato, cilantro, and serrano into small pieces. Remove seeds from the cucumber and chop.

    Grate the carrot.

    Prepare the sauce with 1 cup clamato juice, 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 3/4 cup ketchup, juice of the 2 limes, 1/2 tablespoon habanero sauce, and a pinch of dried oregano.

    Mix the sauce and check the salt.
