Steps
- 1
Firstly mix some salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric with the grated carrots and radish. Mix this well and keep it aside for it to release the water.
- 2
By the time the carrots and radish are ready, prepare the dough for paratha by adding salt as per taste, 1tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder, cumin seed, 1 tsp of clarified butter, and water. Once done keep aside.
- 3
Now when you see the carrots and radish it will start leaving the water. Squeeze out the water completely and transfer it to a bowl.
- 4
Into this mixture add garam masala and chili powder and mix well. (Here you can make the filling as per your taste requirement, you add green chilies, garlic, grated paneer, etc)
- 5
Now take a big lemon-sized ball of the dough, roll it and place enough filling in between. Here I have folded the paratha in a triangle and then rolled it.
- 6
Heat the Tawa on medium flame and cook the paratha well on both sides until it turns lightly brown by applying clarified butter.
- 7
Serve it with curd, pickle, salad, or any chutney of your choice.
