Take Arhar Dal in a cooker. Wash it properly. Then add water. Add to that Salt and turmeric powder. Let it cook on a high flame till you get 8 whistles.
When your Dal is ready. Then take another pan for tadka purpose. In a pan add ghee followed by hing, ginger garlic flakes, and chopped green chilies. - 2
Then add chopped onions and saute them properly till they become transparent then after that add jeera and allow it to turn red in color. Then add chopped tomatoes. Again cook it for 2 minutes till it becomes soft.

Then put tadka in Dal. Garish it with coriander leaves and 1 tbsp of ghee and enjoy it with rice or chapattis 😍
