Ube Pancakes Ube Pancakes
Ube is Filipino purple yam 🍠. My local Asian supermarket sells an ube pancake mix that flies off the shelves whenever it becomes available. I’ve gotten to try it exactly once, and really enjoyed it! It was a ✨stupendous✨ hit with my 4 year old daughter (PURPLE PANCAKES?!? WHAT?!?) 🤩Since I couldn’t reliably buy the mix, I found a recipe online. The Asian supermarket sold the critical ingredients, so I whipped up this purple breakfast feast! This recipe was modified from The Little Epicurean.#Breakfast #Brunch #Masarap #Kids #Sweet Chris Gan -

Stewed Figs in Wine Compote Stewed Figs in Wine Compote
This is my mother's recipe. My mother's policy is that simple is best.I make this with a whole pack of figs (each pack has about 5-7).Depending on your preference, you could replace the cinnamon for vanilla. I recommend star anice. Using white wine will give a clear taste, red wine will give a complex mature taste. Both versions are delicious. Recipe by La Land cookpad.japan -
