Moong Dal with Hilsa fish

Fry Moonge Dal in a kadai & wash it well. Then Boil it in pressure cooker (2 whistle). Keep aside.

Marinate the fish head with salt & turmeric powder.

Heat oil in kadai & add cumin seeds &1dried red chilli. When it splatter, fry marinated fish head well. Then add boiled Moong Dal, salt,sugar, fried cumin powder & garam masala powder. Cook it for 5 minutes in low flame. It's done. Serve it with steamed rice or roti.
