  • 2Carrots
  • 1/2 cupMilk
  • 1 teaspoonSugar
  • 1/2 cupSuji (Semolina)
  • 1/2 cupMaida (Flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoonCardamom powder
  • PinchSalt (optional)
  • 5 tablespoonsMilk powder
  • PinchRed food colour
  • 3/4th cup Milk
  • 1 cupSugar
  • 1 cupWater
  • 2small green Cardamoms
  • 5Saffrons
  • PinchRed food colour
  • 1/2 teaspoonBaking powder
  • as required Refined oil for deep fry
  • as required Crushed Cashew nuts

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Use 2 Carrots for this recipe

  2. 2

    Cut Carrots in small pieces. Remove both ends of Carrot before cutting

  3. 3

    Transfer Carrot pieces in grinder

  4. 4

    Add 1/2 cup Milk in grinder

  5. 5

    Add 1 teaspoon Sugar in grinder and grind everything

  6. 6

    Transfer Carrot paste in a mixing bowl

  7. 7

    Add 1/2 cup Suji (Semolina)

  8. 8

    Add 1/2 cup Maida (Flour)

  9. 9

    Add 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder

  10. 10

    Add pinch of Salt (optional)

  11. 11

    Add 5 tablespoon Milk powder

  12. 12

    Add pinch of Red food colour

  13. 13

    Add 3/4th cup Milk part by part and mix well to prepare batter

  14. 14

    Cover batter for 30 minutes

  15. 15

    Prepare Sugar syrup. Add 1 cup Sugar in pan

  16. 16

    Add 1 cup Water in Sugar and heat

  17. 17

    Add 2 small green Cardamoms

  18. 18

    Add 5 Saffrons

  19. 19

    Add pinch of Red food colour

  20. 20

    Stir continuously

  21. 21

    Sugar syrup is sticky. It is ready

  22. 22

    After 30 minutes, add 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder in batter and mix well

  23. 23

    Add Refined oil as per requirement for deep fry in pan and heat the oil

  24. 24

    Add 1 serving spoon batter in hot oil and deep fry

  25. 25

    Dip Malpua in sugar syrup and keep in syrup for 10 minutes

  26. 26

    After 10 minutes, Carrot Malpua is ready. Garnish with crushed Cashew nuts

  27. 27

    Add some more Sugar syrup on Malpua before serving
