Steps
- 1
Whisk all ingredients to make a smooth batter.
- 2
Oil your pan with oil on some kitchen towel. As oil in already in the mixture, you don't really need oil in the pan for every pancake you add. Keep your heat medium to high. if your pan gets too hot and starts to be smoky just reduce heat to medium and add a little oil again like here now and again.
- 3
Ladle mixture into hot pan, making sure its evenly spread on the pan.
- 4
Pancakes cook in just a few minutes so as soon as you can see the pancake almost done on one side, loosen at the edges by running your spatular around the edge and flip over for 1 minute on the reserve side.

This recipe is a large batch. It isn't necessary to keep the cooked pancakes warm as you finish up the full batch as these cook really quickly (especially if you do like me and have two pans cooking at the same time side by side). But if you do want to keep them warm, just turn your own on to 100c and place the plate you are stacking them on in the oven in between each pancake coming out of the pan.
🥞🍓🧀🥓 top with your toppings of our choice, try savoury and sweet.
