#WDC..Dedicated to my family lady doctor..my guide to healthy living.

In doing things for everyone be it family, elderly parents, working, friends and society we women often one most person that is “ourselves”. Meeting everyday challenge and demands can be highly stressful and exhausting often taking a toll on women’s mental and physical health. This is so common in today’s time when many women are suffering from so many lifecycle diseases and hormonal imbalances. Hence, self-care is not selfish but most important right for every woman.

For me the importance of self-care be it in form of having good food intake, following an exercise regime and having a me time was ingrained by my lady family doctor few years back. Her mantra was simple. Take 30 mins off in a day for yourself do whatever you love. In addition, be grateful, accept the flaws, learn the value of saying no and also exclusively focus on healthy eating. Smaller habits can add lot of brightness to life.

Thanks to her that I was able to cope up with challenges of work and life in general in covid times. Here is very easy breakfast option that she advised amid my busy lifestyle “Rava Idli” The best part is you can make the premix and store it even make upma out if by adding veggies of your choice.
