Dhokla is a vegetarian food item that originates from the Indian State of Gujarat. It is made with a fermented batter derived from rice and Chana dal. Dhokla can be eaten for breakfast, as a main course, as a side dish snack.
Here I have made a slight change.
I have used idli batter for making dhokla.
Making this dhokla is very super fast and easy.
AS COOKING IS LOVE MADE VISIBLE .

Ingredients

10 minutes
4 people
  • 1 bowlidli batter
  • 2 tbspGinger, Garlic, Green chilli paste
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1tbsp red chilli powder to sprinkle
  • as required Oil for greasing

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Take 1 bowl of idli batter add the green chilli, ginger,garlic paste and salt as per taste. Mix well and put the batter in greased plate.

    Steam in a steamer for 10 minutes till dhoklas are cooked.
    Than take the plate out sprinkle some oil and red chilli powder and cut them in diamond shape.

    Dhokla is ready to serve with hot chai and chutney.
