In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk.

Pour a little of the egg and milk mixture into a baking dish. Add the slices of brioche bread.

Peel the banana and pear, then slice them into rounds. Place the fruit slices on top of the brioche, then pour more of the egg and milk mixture over them. Add chocolate chips and cover with more slices of brioche bread. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Pour the remaining egg and milk mixture on top and bake for 20 minutes.

Once baked, remove the French toast bake from the dish.
