Sushila is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe. This is especially popular in Marathwada. This is a good breakfast or any time snack recipe. This is very simple, easy and quick recipe. Do try this tasty and yummy sushila at home.
Steps

Take roasted chana dal into a mortar and pound it into a coarse powder. Do not make a fine powder.
You can use a blender for this.
In a bowl take murmura and add water.
Soak murmura in water for about a minute and drain water from it.
Transfer the soaked and drained murmura into a dish.
Heat up oil in a pan.

Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
Add cumin seeds and let them sputter.
Add hing, onion, curry leaves, and green chili.
Mix well and fry until onion cooks soft and gets light golden color.
You can add red chili powder instead of green chili.
Add turmeric powder and mix well.

Add puffed rice and stir well.
Add pounded roasted chana dal, roasted peanut powder, salt and stir well.
Cover and steam it nicely.
Remove the lid and mix it again.
Garnish with coriander leaves and shev Sushila id already.
You can add lemon juice now or serve with a lemon slice.
