Steps
- 1
In a bowl add the ghee and Powdered sugar and whisk it untill they are light and fluffy and is pale in colour. It takes a lot of elbow grease so i use an electric hand mixer if you can do by your hands than it's super cool go with it. It takes some where around 10-12 minutes. Then seive all the dry ingredients to it. Mix it very well untill all the ingredients are incorporated.
- 2
Don't over mix once you add the dry ingredients. Preheat your oven at 180°c for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile grease your baking tray and make small balls of the dough. I make small lemon sized balls use can make of any size. Now half the almonds longitudinally and press it on the dough. You can use any dry fruits of your choice. Now arrange it on the baking tray leaving some space between every dough so it couldn't overlap while baking and end up in a perfect shape.
- 3
Bake it at 180°c for 15-18 minutes. Keep an eye on it constantly it burns from the bottom very quickly. Be very careful while baking as every oven has different settings check and set the time and temperature according to your oven. I tell you the time and temprature according to mine. Once done take out the tray immediately from the oven. Transfer it to a cooling rack.
- 4
When completely cools down store it in an airtight container at room temperature and it will be good to eat for atleast a month. Serve it with tea or as it is and enjoy this with your family and loved ones.
HAPPY BAKING
