Homemade Dahi

Homemade yogurt is easy to make and tastes so good. I usually make fresh yogurt at home but in ramzan it's a must for sehri and dahi baray and chutney for aftar its taste is so good and light. Tip for making good n thick dahi is to cook milk well and leave on slow flame .
Whisk well to cool down.Mix dahi in it .Leave it covered in a warm place.Summers mein dahi jaldi jam jati hay as compared to winter's.

Boil milk and cook on low flame till for few minutes,cool till its warm.

Pour the milk in a container to make dahi, clay pot is best, but can make in steel, ceramic also.

Now add the dahi (culture) in milk and stirr for few secs. Cover the container and keep in a warm place for6_8hrs in summer's it takes less time.In winter's keep in microwave or warm oven.When dahi is made Keep it in fridge soon for an if you want can add some sugar in warm milk and mix to make sweet yogurt.
