Plain Pulao
Plain Pulao with Dum Aloo
A perfect way to celebrate festival .
Steps

Soak rice for 1 hour, drain excess water and keep aside.

Assemble all ingredients

Heat pan, add oil + ghee, add whole spices + ginger and allow to sizzle.

Then add soaked rice + turmeric + green chilli and gently stir fry for 5-6 minutes. Add cashews + raisins also.

Then add warm water, mix well and cook under medium flame for 7-8 minutes.

Lower flame, add sugar + salt, stir well, cover and cook for 8-9 minutes. Switch off flame and keep in stand by mode for 3-4 minutes.

Plain Pulao is ready.

Serve with Dum Aloo or any of your favourite curry.
