Ingredients

3 peoples
  • 1 1/2 cupsemolina/suji/rava
  • 1 cupyogurt
  • As Per TasteSalt
  • 1/4 teaspoonbaking soda
  • as neededwater
  • 3 tablespoonswhite oil
  • 25 gramspeanuts
  • 1dried chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoonwhole cumin
  • 5-6curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoonurad dal
  • 1 teaspoon bengal gram/chana dal
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoonchopped ginger
  • 4chopped green chillies

    How to make idli: - Mix semolina, curd, and salt to taste well in a pot and keep it covered for 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    After 20 minutes, mix the mixture with baking soda and water as required to make a medium-thick batter.

  3. 3

    Now Idli Maker, oil it and steam it for 10 minutes with that batter, then Idli is ready.
    Method of making upma: - In a pan, fry the peanuts with white oil, then fry the dried chili, whole cumin, whole mustard, curry leaves, chana dal, and urad dal in that oil for 30 seconds.

    After 30 seconds, chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, add salt to taste and fry in small pieces for 5 minutes, mix well with broken idli and fried peanuts and serve hot with coconut chutney / any other chutney.
