15 Cent Diner Fried Egg Sandwich with cheese
Saw on an old menu board from our area- hot dog, diner stand, "Egg Sandwich - 10 cents- w/ cheese 15 cents." This is how it's done.

Asemble and butter the hamburger roll 1/2 tbs.

Toast the roll over medium high heat about a minute.

Add 1 tbs. Butter to hot pan, crack egg, and poke yolk several times and break with your spatula. Salt and pepper. Cook till egg is white and fairly solid. About 2 minutes.

Flip egg and add slice of cheese. Cook about another two minutes and longer till cheese is melty.

Remove the full cooked egg and cheese to the heel of your bun. Top with the rolltop. Enjoy!
