Cut about 8 chillies to increase surface area for easy crushing

Crush the chillies using mortar and pestle

Grate your ginger to make a paste

Fry onions in your sufuria with little amount of cooking oil until golden brown

Add the ginger paste to the frying onions

Add chopped tomatoes into the mixture and stir until broken

Add tomato paste and stir until a thick paste is achieved

Add crushed chillies

Mix garlic together with finely chopped coriander and crush them

Add garlic and coriander mixture into the sufuria and stir

Squeeze half lemon into the mixture in the sufuria

Add a pinch of salt and stir

Cover for less than 30 seconds, and the homemade chillie sauce is ready.

Store in a container in the fridge

Serve with any meal
