Makhana rice kheer

This is an easy and sweet dessert pudding made with makhana and rice.
Steps

Take a pan add ghee and roast almonds and makes a separately.

In the same pan take the milk and boil. In a bowl add saffron strands and milk. Keep aside.

Once the milk boils reduce the flame and take boiled rice and blend in mixie and mix it with milk.

Add cardamom powder, sugar, saffron strands and makhana and mix everything well. The milk will start to thicken and the milk will become creamy.

Cover the pan and cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame and add roasted almonds on top of the kheer.

Serve chilled or warm.
