  1. 1 cupwheat flour
  2. 1/3 cupwater
  3. 1 tspSalt
  4. 1 tspBlack pepper
  5. 1 tspbaking soda
  6. 1 tspsugar
  7. 1 tbspOlive oil
  8. 2 tbspbutter

    Mix refined flour, sugar, salt, olive oil black pepper, baking soda and butter in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough. Add oil and knead again. Cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 180º C.

    Divide the dough into equal portions, shape them into balls and rest for 5-7 minutes. Roll the ball into thin chappati.

    Afterward cut the chappati into strips.

    Grease the baking tray with oil, place the strip on it, brush them with oil, and sprinkle black sesame seeds on top. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.

    Repeat the process again for the 6 chupatties.

    Serve it with the hummus.
