This cake is easy, moist and so delicious. Made in the microwave in less than an hour.

For vanilla cake: cream the sugar and butter in a bowl with a whisk.

Add plain yoghurt and mix.

Add the dry ingredients and then the milk and mix till no lumps.

Grease a microwaveable container and place parchment paper, pour the cake batter and smooth the surface with a spatula.

Microwave for 8-10 minutes.

Let it cool for 10 minutes in the container then turn over on a board to cool completely.

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl

Add oil and hot water and mix well (batter should be runny).

Pour into a greased microwaveable container and microwave for 8-10 minutes.

Allow cake to sit for 5 minutes in the container then turn over to cool completely.

Arrange your cake and decorate it as desired. Use any frosting *hint* chocolate frosting 😋 enjoy

NB: use only microwaveable containers. Cooking time varies on the microwave and the container used. Make sure to do toothpick test to know if it’s done. If it’s not done after 5 minutes, keep an eye on it and add 2 more minutes and so forth. Don’t let the it cook for more than 10 minutes.
