In a pan, heat oil and saute cloves, bay leaf, cardamom pods, cashews, garlic cloves, ginger, green chilli and chopped onions.

Further add chopped tomatoes and saute it. Add some water and let it cook for few more minutes. Now turn off the flame and let it cool down. Then make paste out of it and strain it and keep aside.

Now take dry masalas into a small bowl and add some water to it and make paste.

Heat oil and add masala pasre to it and saute it. Then add gravy to it and add salt and let it cook. At this stage, add water as per the consistency you want.

Now add paneer cubes and cover the lid and let it cook. Lastly add fresh malai, kasuri methi and mix it well.

While serving, top it with some grated paneer and coriander leaves. Serve it with garlic naan or paratha.
