Open the Gits packet in a large bowl and add a tablespoon of ghee or oil. Mix well.

Gradually add lukewarm milk and knead the mixture. Do not knead it too hard like bread dough. Cover and let it rest for two minutes.

For the syrup, heat a pan and add sugar and four cups of water. Stir continuously until the syrup becomes slightly sticky, then turn off the heat.

Heat ghee or oil in a pan on low flame. Make small round balls from the kneaded Gits mixture and add them to the pan. Stir gently.

Once they turn golden brown on all sides, remove them. Repeat for all. Once the balls cool down, add them to the syrup and keep the flame low.

Gulab Jamun is ready. Serve hot.
