Boil 1 cup water. Add salt to the flour in a bowl. Pour the hot water into the flour. Mix, cover, and let it cool for 15 minutes. Knead the dough well until smooth. Divide into equal portions. Roll each on a plastic sheet to medium thin. Heat an earthen tawa. Place a roti on it and cook both sides until done.

Apply ghee generously on each roti. Serve hot with any curry. Enjoy!
Tips
Covering the dough and letting it rest helps in making the roti soft.
