Crab is a seafood I really enjoy—I love it in croquettes, burgers, casseroles, salads, and more. I remember when the pandemic started, I was too afraid to take the bus and my car was broken, so I would walk up and down Cerro Placeres to Caleta Portales to get our fish and shellfish. The effort was worth it.

In a bowl, mix all the croquette ingredients except the Panko breadcrumbs.

Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape each into a flat round patty.

Coat the croquettes in Panko breadcrumbs and freeze for about 20 minutes while you make the sauce.

Fry the crab cakes until golden brown and serve with the sauce.

TO MAKE THE SAUCE
In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve. - 6
You can serve the crab croquettes with coleslaw.
