Malvani cuisine from the Konkan area is very unique in taste and flavour. This chicken is marinated with a masala of ginger-garlic, coconut, coriander leaves and chicken is marinated. Then cooked on low flame and at the end coconut milk is added.

Wash the chicken pieces, marinate with salt and keep it aside for 15 mins

In a blender add green chilies, grated coconut, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic, and water. Blend smooth.

Add the green paste to the chicken and marinate well. In a wok heat oil and add black cardamom, green cardamoms, cinnamon stick, cloves, and cumin seeds to the oil, add marinated chicken and stir for 5-6 mins on low flame

Add water and cover to cook until the chicken is done. Add garam masala powder, and salt and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with Tandulachi Bhakri
