Pour 2 cups of water into a large pot. Lightly crush the lemongrass and cardamom pod, then add them to the pot. Add the mint leaves, sugar, and tea leaves. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

Add 1 cup of milk. Once it comes to a boil, add the crushed ginger. Let it simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes.

Serve the tea hot.
