Ingredients

35 mins.
  • 3/4 cupsemolina / sooji
  • 1/2 cupjaggery crushed
  • 1/2 cupghee
  • 1 cupwarm milk
  • 11/4 cupwater
  • 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • Some almond slices

  1. 1

    Get ready with all ingredients. Heat up milk and water in a separate saucepan. Let it come to a boil. Keep aside.

    Heat up a pan and add semolina/suji roast until light brown colour. (10-15min.) remove on plate and keep aside. In the same pan heat ghee add roasted semolina mix well add green cardemom powder pour milk and water mixture carefully

    Now add crushed jaggery mix everything well see the constancy. Add some almond slices.

    Serve hot / warm / cold.
    Your delicious suji jarggery halwa ready to eat.
    The colour of sheera depends on the colour of jarggery.
