Summer Sangria

A great way to use up leftover summer fruit like peaches, nectarines, or melon—and to liven up a meal! The most fun part is tasting and adding whatever you like. Serve very cold.

Steps
- 1
Cut the fruit into small pieces and slice the lemon.
- 2
Add the sugar, then pour in the soda. The bubbles will help dissolve the sugar.
- 3
Stir well and add a splash of brandy and a splash of gin.
- 4
Finally, pour in the red wine.
- 5
Stir and taste. Adjust for sweetness or strength as you like. Let it chill in the fridge—the longer it sits, the more fruity and sweet it will become. Be careful—if it tastes too good, it can sneak up on you! Enjoy!
