In a wok add milk and boil on medium flame. In a bowl add rice, add water and soak for 30 mins, drain and set aside

Add rice to the milk and keep stirring, keeping the flame medium.

When rice is softened add sugar and stir to dissolve sugar. Add cardamom powder and stir once, set aside

In pan heat ghee, add cashew nuts and raisins, and stirred for 1 min, set aside
- 5
Garnish on Payasam and plate
