Soak lentils for 1 hour. And bottle gourd cut into dice.

Put daal into a pressure cooker and bottle gourd with it. Add salt.
Take 2 to 3 whistles. - 3
Finely cho[onion, Garlic, Ginger, Green chili, and tomatoes.

Take a wok and put in some oil. Heat the oil and put asafoetida now add garlic and onion in it. Stir them until they become pink.

Now add all spices. When they cooked properly and get separated from oil add tomatoes. Now cook it properly until it leaves oil again.

Mix this masala with chana daal in that pressure cooker and take half whistle again.

Your dish is ready to serve. Serve it with chapati and rice.
