Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoonflour
  • 1/2 cupchicken broth
  • 3 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt the butter in a sauce pan over med-low heat. When melted, whisk flour and continue whisking until smooth and bubbly.

  2. 2

    Slowly whisk in chicken broth and milk. Bring to a gentle boil, whisking constantly until the soup thickens.

  3. 3

    Add salt and pepper to taste.
