Grandma made this during a visit with family and had to get the recipe. She's made it before with sour cream but this version has more flavor.

Grandma's Recipe For Winter Potato Salad Grandma's Recipe For Winter Potato Salad
My Grandma was a great cook, and this is one of her standard recipes - an old-fashioned, nostalgia-inducing potato salad. We didn't have cucumbers in the winter back then, so she used cabbage and added canned tangerines to make it child-friendly. The gentle sweetness is a feature of this salad.Boil the potatoes in well salted water to flavor them.Massage the cabbage with sugar. Sugar? You might wonder...but even if it's not salt, the cabbage will still wilt and become tender!Season the scrambled egg well with salt and pepper. You can use apples instead of the tangerines. Onion is nice too. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by rie-tin cookpad.japan -

Mama’s Potato Salad Mama’s Potato Salad
It’s summer in my world and nothing says summer like this potato salad. My mom has made this my entire life and I have carried that tradition on. We love a lot of mustard in ours. Almost like a deviled egg potato salad. No sweet in this. It’s tangy and savory. I can’t believe I’m just putting this out there but better late than never. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
