Firstly, in a pan add sugar, crushed cardamom,saffron strands and 1&1/2 cup water. Cook until sugar dissolve.
Turn off flame and keep it ready. - 2
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom kadai. Add in wheat flour and semolina, mix well. Stir and simmer on low flame. Cook until the mixture turns golden brown, aromatic and starts leaving ghee.

Further, add in Mawa stir and mix well. Make sure there should be no lumps. Stir continuously and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Now add in prepared sugar syrup stir continuously. - 4
Further, add chopped nuts. Mix well and keep stirring on low flame. Stir and cook till the mixture doesn't stick to the pan. Turn off flame. Halwa is ready.
