Easy to make, soft and slightly crunchy, this cake can be enjoyed warm or cold for breakfast, as a snack, or for dessert. Absolutely delicious!

Mix the softened butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the flour, baking powder, and oats, then mix in the eggs, applesauce, diced apples, and cinnamon.

Pour the batter into a rectangular or round baking pan. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 40 to 45 minutes. Check doneness with a knife inserted in the center.

Let cool slightly before removing from the pan. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream for dessert, or cold as a snack or for breakfast.
