Rice Kheer/
Steps

Soak rice in 2 katori water overnight.

Pressure cook for 5 minutes in the same water.

Add 1/2 katori milk and mash the rice well.

Soak saffron in lukewarm milk and keep aside. Ground green cardamom and keep aside.

In a deep bottom pan, add mashed rice and milk. Bring it to a boil. Add half portion of soaked saffron and ground green cardamoms.

Add condensed milk. And keep stirring on low flame. Drizzle the remaining saffron milk. Keep a few strands aside for the garnish.

Serve either hot or cold as per your liking. Garnish with chopped pistachios and strands of saffron.
