Ingredients

50 minutes baking.
About 18 pieces
  • 1 packagephyllo dough
  • 5 cupscoarsely chopped pistachios
  • 7 tablespoonsbutter (about 100 grams)
  • 3 1/2 tablespoonsolive oil (about 50 grams)
  • For the syrup:
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 1/2 cupssugar
  • Orange peels

Steps

50 minutes baking.
  1. 1

    Butter a baking dish, place 2-3 sheets of phyllo at the bottom, and start layering with phyllo, butter, and pistachios.

    Don't forget to butter all the corners. Score into pieces and bake at 300°F for 50 minutes.

    Prepare the syrup. Once the dessert is done, pour hot syrup over the hot baklava.
