Chicken 65 is a famous starter known to every foodie. And there have been umpteen alternative versions of it by many especially in our Country. And this one is one such delightful Vegetarian version of it. It's better off on it's own and if you want a Curry alongside, you can serve it with one of your family's choice. This version of 65 is quite different one from the others in terms of taste and texture. It just melts in your mouth with those awesome crisp and juicy little Potatoes. Full of aromatic flavours and absolutely delicious, this makes all the difference with it's presence at the dining table or for that matter any party at large. It's a famous appetizer loved by many across the Country and therefore tops the party menu. Lip smacking, juicy, succulent pieces of the Potatoes makes you crave for more. There is no need to add any artificial Colour to it as it looks gorgeous with the natural hue it gets from the spice blend. But adding a little does not bring any harm to the dish. I added a little dry food colour that was handy and it made it look even more gorgeous.
So, let's get started.

Steps
- 1
Marinate the Baby Potatoes with all the spices. Add both the Flours too. Mix well. Refrigerate for an hour or two. Don't forget to cover it well.
- 2
Remove it prior to 30 minutes for frying. Heat oil and deep fry them until tender. Remove them on an absorbent paper. Set aside until use.
- 3
Heat Oil for seasoning now. Add Curry Leaves, chopped Garlic cloves and slit Green Chillies. Fry them for a minute. Then add the Onion and Capsicum chunks. Saute all of them on a medium high heat until a bit crisp and the rawness fades.
- 4
Add fried Baby Potatoes to this seasoning and toss well. Cover and let it heat up for about 5-8 minutes. Serve hot with Naans, Chapatis, Rotis, Phulkas and Rumaali Rotis too. However it can served with your favourite Rice dishes too. Yum! Enjoy!
