  • 1/4 L.Milk /1 cup
  • 200 grbuckwheat
  • 50 grBacon/Speck cubed
  • 2eggs
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 1/2chives
  • 50 grbutter

    Put milk, buckwheat, speck/bacon and eggs in a bowl

    Season with salt pepper and chives and mix to a medium firm dough

    Grease with butter a baking pan. Pour the dough into the pan and sprinkle with butter flakes

    Bake in the oven at 180° for 20 minutes until golden brown

love this old traditional recipe. Never heard of it before, but it looks and sounds intriguing ...almost like a savoury bread. Would you say the texture is bread or load like??
